Based on the monitoring data of six air pollutants (SO2, NO2, PM2.5, PM10, and CO) in Jin⁃wan District of Zhuhai City from 2017 to 2020, the temporal variation trend and characteristics of local air quality were analyzed. The results showed that 95% quantile concentration of CO, the annual mean concentrations of SO2 and PM2.5 did not change significantly. The concentrations of the other three pollutants showed a downward trend. The excellent rate of ambient air quality was above 80%. The four studied years ranked from high comprehensive index of ambient air quality to low are 2020, 2018, 2019 and 2017. O3 was the main pollutant that affected the air quality of Jinwan District, followed by PM10 and PM2.5. The maximum concentration of six air pollutants appeared in autumn and winter, and the minimum appeared in spring and summer, showing obvious seasonality.
