Abstract:work,the heat dissipation performance of different insulation materials was analyzed. The influences ofinsulation thickness,steam temperature,ambient temperature and wind speed on the thermal insulationof pipeline were studied based on the heat dissipation calculation model of steam heating network. Theresults showed that considering the price and thermal conductivity,centrifugal glass wool was more suit⁃able for the thermal insulation of steam pipes. When the insulation thickness of DN 300 and DN 400pipelines increased from 80 mm to 300 mm,the heat dissipation decreases by 79.1% and 78.4%,re⁃spectively. When the steam temperature was reduced from 300 ℃ to 140 ℃,the heat dissipation of DN300 pipeline with insulation thickness of 80 mm and 180 mm was reduced by 65.3% and 65.5%,re⁃spectively. For DN 300 pipelines with insulation thickness of 80 mm and 180 mm,when the ambienttemperature increased from -20 ℃ to 30 ℃,the heat dissipation decreased by 9.2% and 8.9,respec⁃tively. When the wind speed increased from 0 to 8 m/s,the heat dissipation increased by 3% and1.2%,respectively. Close-
