Open Access Statement

Energy Environmental Protection flipped to a fully open access journal in 2023. Since the first issue of 2023, all articles published in the journal are open access articles. Once an article is published, all users can immediately and permanently access it for free via the journal's official website, and users may copy and disseminate the article under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.

Licensing Policy

The journal adopts the following license: Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This license allows users to copy and distribute the open access articles published in the journal in any medium or format, provided they adhere to the following terms:

When copying and distributing the open access articles of the journal, users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes to the articles were made. Users may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the journal endorses the use. Users may not use the articles for commercial purposes. If users re-mix, transform, or build upon the articles, they may not distribute the modified articles. The full details of the license are available at: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/

Archive Policy

Starting with the first issue of 2023, all articles published in this journal are open access works under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. After publication, these articles are immediately and permanently archived on the official website of the journal, available for free access by all users.

Articles before 2023 were published under a non-open access model and are not open access works. Among these, articles published in recent years have been fully archived on the official website of the journal, and a free PDF version of the full text is available for download through the "Archive" column on the homepage of this website. Please note that articles from certain years, due to their older age, have not yet been fully archived on the official website of the journal. Readers who need these articles can access them through databases such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) (https://www.cnki.net/).

Self-archiving of Authors

It is allowed for authors to deposit all versions of their articles in an institutional or other repository of their choice. However, it is necessary to indicate in the repository that the relevant article was originally published in Energy Environmental Protection.
